How is my music delivered?
As soon as you have bought your tracks, you will be taken to a download page where you can download your tracks immediately. The mp3s are broadcast quality and are encoded at a rate of 256kbps, 16 bit, 44.1KHz stereo.
Do I need to include Cut to the Beat tracks on music cue sheets?
Yes. Although we are royalty free to production, we still collect performance royalties from the PRS, ASCAP etc. Please read our licensing information section for more information.
After I have bought your music, will I have to pay any more money?
No. As soon as you have received your licence email, you can use our music forever throughout the world at no extra cost.
Are there any mechanical royalties to pay?
No. Your licence email is effectively your mechanical licence forever.
Do I need a MCPS or PPL licence?
No. The production company does not need any other licence other than the one we email to you when you purchase music.
How will I know about new releases?
Our composeres are always working on new material, if you register with us and tick the newsletter box, we will keep you informed about new releases.
Can I let a friend or collegue use the music?
It depends. Anybody working on a production within your company can use this music. If they are working on a production outside of your company then they need to buy the music themselves.
Do I need to clear the music for contextual use?
No. You can use our music in any context within a programme.
